Meraki Lagoons is one of the residential projects inside Meydan Horizon, the Meydan Group master community planned for around 72,000 residents. Four lagoons sit at its centre, wrapped by a four-kilometre embankment with beaches, recreation areas and water sports stations, and a two-kilometre canal runs through the district with boardwalks and promenades alongside it. Around them the plan sets out residential clusters, a central park, a clubhouse, schools, clinics, shopping centres and offices.
The wider setting is Mohammed Bin Rashid City, one of Dubai's largest master-planned districts, which also holds Sobha Hartland and District One. Buyers comparing waterfront communities can look at Dubai Creek Harbour on the other side of the Ras Al Khor sanctuary.
